GTU – Code Unnati Centre of Excellence on Emerging Technologies
In alignment with the Government of India’s Skill India and Digital India missions, the Gujarat Technological University has collaborated with the Edunet Foundation to run a GTU – Code Unnati Centre of Excellence on Emerging Technologies at the GTU Cahndkheda campus. The Centers will serve as a hub for transferring current technologies to students and evolving into research and innovation. Teaching, knowledge transfer, projects, applications, research, and innovation are the center's main objectives. These centers will improve employability and provide greater opportunities for developing entrepreneurship.
Code Unnati Program By (SAP & Edunet Foundation)
Code Unnati is a corporate to-citizen digital literacy and IT skills development initiative, launched in June 2017, SAP is committed to improve people’s lives and create a lasting impact. Code Unnati is a multi-stakeholder, multi-year program which is a collaborative effort between SAP, CSR wings of different corporate companies and government as well as non-profit organizations. It aims to increase the lease of knowledge, expertise, and resources available to scale up, reach a greater audience, and magnify impact.

The objective of the GTU – Code Unnati Centre of Excellence on Emerging Technologies
The program focuses on upskilling the students in the pre-final/final year of their engineering degree courses and thus provides them an edge over the large cohort of students completing their Engineering Degree programs when they go for job placements/ Employment post completion of the engineering degrees.
As the Industrial Revolution 4.0- Which according to the salesforce, “is a fusion of advances in AI, robotics, IoT, 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies”- is bringing about transformative changes in almost every industry and business.
